ER Collet Description:

The standard ER collet is the most widely used clamping system in the world.  Made from Alloy spring steel and fully hardened these ER collets are ideal for many machining applications including boring, milling, reaming, tapping and grinding.

ER collet can be divided into standard ER collet (ER standard), ER high-precision collet (ER-UP), ER mechanical collet (ER-DM), tapping collet (ER-GB).Product specifications from ER 8 to ER 50, clamping diameter from 0.5 mm to 34 mm.

■A：≤0.01mm

■UP：≤0.005mm

Installation of ER collets：
The ER collet holder uses the displacement of the taper reducing sleeve to clamp the tool.It is usually used in the inner hole of the spindle. When install the ER collet，An ER collet is a milling machine-mounted barrel clamp that can be used to retrofit part fixtures.Eastec reminds everyone to install the collet into the nut before installing the collet, then lock the end with the collet on the nut, and screw it lightly on the spindle.It should be noted that the threaded part of the collet and the lock nut should be cleaned.In the process of installing the collet, the collet and the nut should be inclined at a certain angle, and then gently put into the slot.
