EU Investigates Anti-dumping on Chinese Headless Screws

On October 17, 2024, the European Commission issued a notice announcing that it has initiated an anti-dumping investigation into screws without heads originating from China, following an application submitted by the European Industrial Fasteners Institute on September 2, 2024. The CN (Combined Nomenclature) codes for the products concerned are 7318 15 42 and 7318 15 48. The dumping investigation period for this case is from July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024, and the injury investigation period is from January 1, 2021, to the end of the dumping investigation period. The preliminary ruling in this case is expected to be made within 7 months, not exceeding 8 months.
