The CR450 high-speed train prototype leads internationally in key indicators such as operational speed, energy consumption, in-car noise, and braking distance.
Faster – With a test speed of 450 km/h and an operational speed of 400 km/h;
Safer – Shorter braking distance and improved operational stability. At the increased operational speed, the braking distance is roughly equivalent to that of a 350 km/h high-speed train;
More Energy-Efficient – The overall operational resistance of the train is reduced by 22%, and its weight is reduced by 10%;
More Comfortable – The in-car noise is reduced by 2 decibels, and the passenger cabin service space is increased by 4%;
Smarter – Comprehensive upgrades have been made in areas such as train operation and control, intelligent interaction for drivers, safety monitoring, and intelligent services for passengers.
