BEIJING, China - Comprehensive report from China News Service, U.S. President Trump signed a document on the 10th, announcing a 25% tariff on all imported steel and aluminum products to the United States.
According to reports, Trump indicated that there would be "no exceptions and exemptions" for this move.
As previously reported, during his first term, Trump imposed tariffs of 25% and 10% on imported steel and aluminum products, respectively, citing "national security" concerns. In December 2022, the World Trade Organization released a panel report that ruled the U.S. tariffs on imported steel and aluminum products imposed in 2018 violated WTO regulations.
