**Beijing Accelerates Embodied Intelligence to Cultivate a Trillion-Yuan Industrial Cluster**
Recently, the "Beijing Embodied Intelligence Technology Innovation and Industrial Cultivation Action Plan (2025-2027)" was officially released. By the end of 2027, Beijing is expected to break through over a hundred key technologies and produce no fewer than 10 internationally leading software and hardware products; it aims to promote the large-scale deployment of ten thousand embodied intelligent robots and cultivate a trillion-yuan industrial cluster. Additionally, the world's first humanoid robot half-marathon will be held in Beijing on April 13, where humanoid robots will start alongside athletes at the starting line and run the same route.
**Zhejiang Speeds Up the Layout of New Industries and Formats Such as Humanoid Robots**
As early as September last year, Zhejiang proposed to prospectively layout and accelerate the innovative development of the humanoid robot industry. This year's Zhejiang Provincial Government Work Report further proposed "to layout and construct future industries, deepen the 'Artificial Intelligence+' action, and accelerate the layout of new industries and formats such as humanoid robots and quantum information," to seize the high ground of future competition. Guangdong has proposed to vigorously develop embodied intelligent robots such as humanoid robots, and to introduce and cultivate 3-5 unicorn enterprises and leading technology enterprises. Data shows that Guangdong's annual output of industrial robots in 2024 exceeded 240,000 units, ranking first in the country for five consecutive years. More than ten provinces and cities including Shanghai, Shandong, and Chongqing have also successively introduced policies to support the development of the embodied intelligence/humanoid robot industry, using it as an important lever to promote high-quality economic development and industrial upgrading.

Currently, China has become a globally leading producer of humanoid robots. Data shows that the market size of humanoid robots in China reached approximately 2.76 billion yuan in 2024 and is expected to grow into a hundred-billion-yuan market by 2030. The government work report submitted for deliberation at the third session of the 14th National People's Congress on the 5th proposed to establish a growth mechanism for future industry investment and to cultivate future industries such as biomanufacturing, quantum technology, embodied intelligence, and 6G. Industry insiders stated that as an emerging industry, embodied intelligence/humanoid robots, with technological breakthroughs and the improvement of the industrial ecosystem, will become a significant force in the construction of a modern industrial system and will accelerate their entry into more application scenarios, including households.
