Recently, Porsche (China) Motors Co., Ltd., in accordance with the requirements of the "Regulations on the Management of Defective Automobile Product Recalls" and the "Implementation Measures for the Regulations on the Management of Defective Automobile Product Recalls," has filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation. The company has decided to recall a total of 190 vehicles from the 911 series produced between February 16, 2023, and July 19, 2023, starting from March 1, 2025.
The recall involves certain vehicles where the rear seat belt buckles were incorrectly assembled and partially fixed to the aluminum sound insulation pads. This may cause the fastening nuts to loosen, potentially leading to the failure of the seat belt buckle bolt connection in the event of a collision. This increases the risk of injury to rear passengers and poses a safety hazard.
Porsche (China) Motors Co., Ltd. will authorize its dealers to inspect the seat belt buckle bolt connections on the affected vehicles free of charge, repair the sound insulation pads, and, if necessary, re-tighten the bolts to eliminate the safety risk.
