Recently, the State Administration for Market Regulation (Standardization Administration of China) issued Announcement No. 6 of 2025, approving 216 recommended national standards. Among them are four standards under the purview of the National Technical Committee on Special Processing Machine Tools (SAC/TC161): GB/T 23480—2025 "Accuracy Testing of Small Hole Electrical Discharge Machining Machines," GB/T 45376—2025 "Specification for Nickel and Copper Electroforming Processes," GB/T 45379—2025 "Accuracy Testing of Five-Axis Electrical Discharge and Arc Composite Milling Machines," and GB/T 45381—2025 "Accuracy Testing of Moving Gantry Electrical Discharge Forming Machines." The implementation date for all four recommended national standards is October 1, 2025.
