Honda will recall certain 2023-2024 model year Honda Accord, Accord Hybrid, Civic Sedan, Civic Hatchback, Pilot, and the 2024 HR-V, Acura, and Acura Integra Type S in the United States. The driver's side seat cushion frame may not have been properly secured, resulting in the seat not being safely secured and unable to adequately protect the driver in the event of an accident, thereby increasing the risk of injury.
Dealers will replace the driver's side seat cushion frame free of charge. The owner notification letters are expected to be mailed out on January 6, 2025.
