IT Home reported on December 19 that the inauguration ceremony of the JAC Group's Junjie Super Factory was successfully held in Hefei, Anhui on December 16, which will be used for the production of the HarmonyOS Smart Travel Junjie S800 model.
During the HarmonyOS Smart Travel annual live broadcast, CCTV visited the Junjie Super Factory for the first time. However, due to confidentiality, not much information was revealed during this visit.
The report mentioned that the Junjie Super Factory has implemented strict confidentiality measures, with the factory's glass windows covered, and reporters' phone cameras were also covered before entering the factory, preventing any internal information from being photographed.
Nevertheless, the report included an official factory video from the JAC Group, showing robots at work in the automobile factory.
As previously reported by IT Home, on November 26, the JAC Group and Huawei's collaborative model, the Junjie S800, was officially unveiled, with an expected price range of 1 to 1.5 million yuan. Xiang Xingchu, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman, and General Manager of Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Group Holdings Co., Ltd., stated that the Junjie Super Factory is a world-class smart factory built by the JAC Group, integrating functions such as digital research and development, green and low-carbon smart manufacturing, and brand experience services. It is expected that the annual output value will exceed 100 billion yuan after production reaches full capacity.
The JAC Group stated that to ensure the high-quality mass production of its products, it has collaborated with Huawei to create the Junjie Super Factory. The factory is equipped with nearly 1,500 intelligent robots, achieving 100% full automation in key processes such as welding, painting, and gluing. Relying on the digital infrastructure of "one cloud, one network, one platform," and using the C2M model, it has integrated research, production, supply, and service application scenarios, realizing personalized customization and agile manufacturing of product configurations. The factory has established a carbon footprint management system, applied green development technologies and energy-saving technologies, and has become the first batch of zero-carbon industrial parks to be established in Anhui Province. It widely uses artificial intelligence technology, setting up 86 quality review gates and more than 25,000 quality control points, achieving full-process, traceable, and timely quality control, to create a super-luxury quality.
