According to the latest data compiled by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers from the General Administration of Customs, China's auto parts exports experienced some fluctuations in September 2024. Specifically, the export value of auto parts reached 8.44 billion USD in September, a 7.6% month-on-month decrease from the 9.21 billion USD in August. At the same time, compared with the same period last year, the export value also saw a 1.9% decline, with the export value in the same period last year being 8.61 billion USD.
Although the export value of auto parts in September saw a slide, the export performance of China's auto parts from January to September 2024 still showed a positive trend. Over these nine months, the cumulative export value of auto parts reached 78.2 billion USD, up 4.6% from the cumulative export value of 74.8 billion USD in the same period last year. This growth indicates that, against the backdrop of the gradual recovery of the global automotive market, the competitiveness of China's auto parts industry in the international market is gradually strengthening.
