Ford Recalls 11.9K Cars Due to Loose Ball Joint Nut

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) disclosed on December 24 that Ford Motor Company is recalling 11,922 units of the 2023-2024 F-150 Lightning BEV in the United States. The ball joint nut on the front upper control arm may not have been properly tightened, which could cause the front upper control arm to separate from the steering knuckle assembly, resulting in the vehicle losing steering and control, and increasing the risk of a collision.
