China Adds Another World-Class Super Factory

On December 5th, the production launch ceremony of the FAW Jiefang 6DV Super Factory and the release of the first hydrogen engine were held in Dalian, Liaoning Province. At the ceremony, the 6DV Super Factory, located in Dalian, was officially unveiled, becoming another world-class super factory newly established in our country. The CA6HV3 hydrogen engine released on-site is the first heavy-duty commercial vehicle hydrogen engine developed independently in China, leading in thermal efficiency domestically and achieving zero carbon emissions.
It is reported that this world-class super factory has an annual production capacity of 50,000 engines, integrating three core characteristics: super technology, super efficiency, and super intelligence. It is the first in China to adopt the innovative stacked gear assembly process, with machining precision reaching 5H level and an automation rate as high as 83%. The lean production line design achieves the best layout and the highest production efficiency within the same scale, combined with top-quality control measures, resulting in a first-pass yield rate of 99.99%.

Moreover, the super factory's intelligent logistics, with refined, dynamic, and visual management, has promoted a personnel reduction rate of 67.6%, reaching the highest level of intelligent manufacturing in the industry.
The CA6HV3 hydrogen engine has built six product strengths: high adaptability, high reliability, high power, low cost, high thermal efficiency, and low emissions, carrying 16 proprietary technologies.
