According to data compiled by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers from the General Administration of Customs, as of September this year, the total value of automotive product imports and exports has shown a slight year-on-year increase.
In September 2024, the total value of automotive product imports and exports reached 26.6 billion USD, a month-on-month decrease of 5% and a year-on-year increase of 4.8%. Among them, the value of imports was 5.73 billion USD, a month-on-month decrease of 18.3% and a year-on-year decrease of 16.5%; the value of exports was 20.87 billion USD, a month-on-month decrease of 0.5% and a year-on-year increase of 12.7%.
From January to September 2024, the cumulative total value of national automotive product imports and exports was 226.82 billion USD, a year-on-year increase of 7.9%. Among them, the value of imports was 53.17 billion USD, a year-on-year decrease of 5.3%; the value of exports was 173.65 billion USD, a year-on-year increase of 12.8%.
